What is Design?
Design is a process that makes things more efficient, usable, and valuable. It's not just about aesthetics—design can improve the performance of your products and services by making them easier to use, look better, and feel more comfortable in your hand.
A good user interface (UI) can make your product or service faster to use because it reduces cognitive load (the effort required to understand how something works). A great UI can also make you happier by removing unnecessary steps while maintaining functionality so that users don't have as many frustrations with their products or services.
The design creates order out of chaos by prioritizing and organizing information, which helps users understand and complete tasks more easily.
Design is the process of creating a solution to a problem. It involves understanding the user's needs, developing an idea for how to satisfy them, choosing an appropriate medium (e.g., visual vs textual), executing that idea in a way that meets its goals—and then iterating on it until you have something appealing enough for people to want to use it.
Good design is invisible. It doesn't get in the way—it helps people do their jobs or enjoy themselves better.
